Purpose of the National Workshop:
The purpose of this program is to provide an understanding the importance of effective communication in every-day situation. This 3-day workshop will enable the participants to polish their skills, at the same time, making them understand the demands of the workplace by ensuring an effective communication.
Objectives of the Programme:
As a result of attending this workshop, participants will be able to:
1) Write more effectively and efficiently
2) Use more competent, confident speaking skills
3) Combine these skills to help them communicate more successfully during their day-to-day interactions with others
The program will be conducted in Offline Mode & E-Certificate will be provided to all registered participants.
Venue: University Auditorium
Programme Structure: 3 hours of session everyday starting from 18th to 20th September 2024.
What you'll learn
Effective Communication, Communication Network in Organization, Oral Communication Skills (Context based).
IELTS Module: Speaking and Reading Speaking Topics with Cue Cards and Prompts, Reading Comprehension Passages (General and Academic).
English for Technical Writing- Organization of texts using headings, subheadings and bullet points, Avoiding Repetition and being precise, Using less words and sentences, Academic Writing, Editing & Proofreading.
Preparing for a career (Cover Letter, Resume/CV, MoM & Effective Profiling), Presentation Skills, Interview Skills, Group Discussion and Business Communication.
IELTS Module: Writing and Listening Letter Writing, Report Writing and Email Writing (General and Academic), Listening to songs, movie clips and other ESL Videos on YouTube.
Soft Skills: Intra and Interpersonal Skills, Time Management, Leadership Skills and Problem-Solving Skills.

Mr. Arghya Chakraborty is Assistant Professor, English Language at the School of International Cooperation, Security and Strategic Languages (SICSSL) since January 2023.
Devjani is an Associate Professor at the Department of English, Miranda House, Delhi University. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Presidency College, Kolkata, a Masters from Delhi University, an MPhil from JNU and a PhD from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Delhi. During her doctoral studies, she was awarded the Charles Wallace Trust grant for research in the UK (2015). Her doctoral thesis is on Bengali children’s periodicals in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Her interests lie in childhood studies and its intersections with other cultural projects, particularly critical literacy, pedagogy and nationalism. Her work has appeared in several journals. She also writes extensively for newspapers and news websites.
Ms. Runali Basak is working as an IELTS Instructor in Kanan International Private Limited. Ms. Runali has completed her B.A. and M.A. in English Language and Literature from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Ms. Runali has more than 10yrs of teaching experience as an IELTS Instructor. Previously, she was working with Planet Education and has achieved popularity in training students for IELTS/TOEFL exams.
