5 Days DGCA Approved Certificate Course on Drone Flying - Batch - 9
Description
Drones have truly caught the imagination of humanity – ranging from students rigging up rickety contraptions in their garages for impressing their peers or making a school project, to professional start-ups innovating sophisticated models that can create autonomous and synchronised flight patterns in their thousands across the sky. The use of a Drone is limited only by the imagination of the user and the choice of payload, particularly sensors, loaded on to the platform. The term Drone Didi is sure to ring a familiar bell in our minds.
At RRU, we have established a Remote Pilot Training Centre (RPTC) in Nov 2022, under a public-private partnership model with M/S DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Ltd, where Dir Gen Civ Avn (DGCA) certified trainers give training on flying quad-copters in strict compliance with certification criteria.
The DGCA has laid down a five days training schedule for imparting the basic training in Drone flying. However, the training at RRU will be conducted on a 5 plus 3-day basis. While the first five days are meant for basic training module, the additional period (of 3 days) is to impart specialised GIS based training on use of various sensors onboard a RPV (optical, thermal etc) to capture georeferenced data having real world use, customised to the requirement of specific client. The requirement of Defence, Police, Agriculture, Power, Irrigation, Town Planning sectors etc vary greatly and therefore the add-on module will be customised for each. Depending upon the User requirement, the additional 3- day package shall cover ANY ONE of the subjects, viz., GIS, Disaster management, Cinematography, Drone Building, Drone racing, Forest management etc.
Candidates are required to pay an initial registration fee of Rs 2,500. The remaining course fee must be paid when they arrive physically at the campus to attend the course.
