Air Commodore (Dr.) Jayanta Kumar Sahu (Retd)
Air Commodore (Dr) Jayanta Kumar Sahu (Retd) is a scholar warrior with Ph D (Physics) from University of Pune and Ph D (Management) from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The officer is an alumnus of Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), College of Defence Management (CDM), and National Defence College (NDC). He was part of the Indian contingent which participated in multi national exercise “Cope Thunder” at Alaska, USA and was also a crew in IAF’s mission to the North Pole. He has also served with United Peacekeeping Force at Congo, Africa. While working in Indian Air Force, he was commended twice by Chief of Air Staff, once by Air Officer Commanding in Chief and once by Chief of Integrated Staff Committee for his dedication and significant contributions to the Service. Post retirement, he worked as the Director of Army Institute of Management & Technology (AIMT), Greater Noida, Delhi NCR and also as the Director- MBA programme at Gandhi Engineering College (Autonomous), Bhubaneswar. At present, he is working as Director (Projects) at the Rastriya Raksha University, Gandhinagar.
