M.A./M.Sc in Criminology & Crime Science: one of the successfully run course from 2012 with a focus on Criminology; Crime Science was later added, and the nomenclature was changed to Criminology & Crime Science. This course has been offered in hybrid mode from the academic year 2025-26.

Aim: To equip the students with experimental and scientific approach to the study of crime & criminals which is multidisciplinary. The inclusion of the Crime Science helped in gathering students from pure sciences as well as from arts and humanities that has increased the scope for data analytics and preventive aspects of crime.

Duration: Two-year master’s program designed as per the RRU/UGC guidelines comprising of subject papers like Fundamentals of Criminology and Criminal Justice System, Crime Science, Victimology, Research Methodology, Green Criminology & Cultural Criminology.

Course Fee: Rs. 50,000/- per year (25,000/- per Semester)

Physical Presence at RRU, Lavad: 10 Days compulsory stay at Lavad Campus in Each Semester (60 Hors). The students will bear all expenses i.e. transportation, Hostel/Guest house/ Hotel charges, Food Charges, Exposure visit cost etc.

Attendance Policy: 60% via online mode

Examination and Evaluation Scheme: 30+70=100 Marks of Each Paper. 30 Marks Internal Evaluation and 70 Marks for Online Exam at the End of the Semester in each papers.
