A postgraduate Chemical Engineer with over 40 years of experience in Nuclear Power Program, having wide range of expertise in Nuclear regulatory activities & Nuclear security governed by Atomic Energy Acts, rules, safety codes, guides etc. Authored several regulatory documents for AERB and one document for IAEA. He has practical experiences for the activities related to Site Evaluation, Design Safety Review, Construction, Commissioning, Operation, Radiation Protection, Emergency Preparedness, licensing of Nuclear and Fuel cycle facilities including regulatory enforcement by AERB. Presently providing training to NTPC executive trainees & senior management on nuclear engineering and regulatory norms. Providing consultancy to Atomic Energy Regulatory Borad on revision of regulatory requirements to match with latest SHANTI bill ( Acts).
