Dr. Loic Renoud
Description
Loïc Renoud is an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Okayama University, Japan, where he teaches French Studies (language, francophone literature, and linguistics). He has done his Ph.D (French) from Lumière University Lyon 2 in Applied Linguistics. His interests are diverse and include foreign language instruction, francophone literature, semiotics, and linguistics. In 2019, he was the recipient of the ‘best article’ award from the Société japonaise de didactique du français. He was also RJDF (Revue japonaise de didactique du français)’s Chief Editor from 2020 to 2023. His latest works include two co-authored book chapters in A cross-linguistic study of “naru expressions” from the perspective of Cognitive Linguistics and philosophy, and a co-authored article to be published in the International Journal of Francophone Studies.
