Dr. Rohini Sharma

Dr. Rohini Sharma has been serving as Assistant Professor of English Language at the School of International Cooperation, Security and Strategic Languages (SICSSL) since September 2025. Dr. Sharma earned her Ph.D. in English (2025) from the Faculty of Arts, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Her doctoral thesis, Mapping Emotions through Food and Gender in Contemporary Indian Women’s Fiction, engages with the intersections of food and gender studies in contemporary literary discourse. She holds a Master’s degree in English from the University of Jammu and has successfully qualified the National Eligibility Test (2019) and the Gujarat State Eligibility Test (2022). Dr. Sharma has contributed various research articles to UGC-CARE listed and peer-reviewed journals and has presented her work at several national and international conferences.
